Baker Street Boys

#1.Andrew Scott

Date of Birth 21 October 1976, Dublin, Ireland
Height 5' 8" (1.73 m)

In 2012, he was listed in The Hospital Club and Time Out's 100 influential people list, namely for his role as "Jim Moriarty" in the TV series, Sherlock (2010).
His name is from the Greek name Andreas, which was derived from andreios "manly, masculine", a derivative of aner "man".

Scott is low-key on the subject of his sexuality. "Mercifully, these days people don't see being gay as a character flaw. But nor is it a virtue, like kindness. Or a talent, like playing the banjo. It's just a fact. Of course, it's part of my make-up, but I don't want to trade on it. I am a private person; I think that's important if you're an actor. But there's a difference between privacy and secrecy, and I'm not a secretive person. Really I just want to get on with my job, which is to pretend to be lots of different people. Simple as that."

#2.Rupert Graves

Date of Birth 30 June 1963, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England, UK
Height 5' 11" (1.8 m)

Trade Mark:
Expressive dark brown eyes.

Worked odd jobs including in a shoe factory and a fish-and-chip shop prior to 1986.

On his favorite Sherlock (2010) scene: I don't often get too much to say. I think my favorite scene is when Lestrade first saw that Sherlock was okay, at the underground car park. The art is to react, in the moment, so it depends very much on what Benedict Cumberbatch is doing, and the other people are doing. And there's a scene [in the special] between Lestrade and Mrs. Hudson that was great. We've been friends for awhile, Una Stubbs and I, and it was great to get to act together.

#3.Martin John Cristopher Freeman

Date of Birth 8 September 1971, Aldershot, Hampshire, England, UK
Height 5' 6½" (1.69 m)

1.Does not drive
2.Is a vegetarian
3.Has been in a relationship with actress Amanda Abbington since summer 2000.
4.Has two children with longtime partner Amanda Abbington: Joseph (born 2006) and Grace (born 2008).

I don't think it was a surprise that I ended up as an actor, and it was anything but a disappointment. My parents gave me the knowledge that reading isn't a bad thing, and admitting to liking a painting doesn't make you an arse-bandit. And that wouldn't have been a problem either.

#4. Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch

Date of Birth 19 July 1976, Hammersmith, London, England, UK
Nickname Ben
Height 6' 0½" (1.84 m)

Trade Mark (5)
Rich baritone voice
Piercing blue-green eyes
Sharp cheekbones
Often portrays posh upper-class figures
Usually plays highly-intelligent and gifted characters

His female fans were originally known as "Cumberbitches", but are now known as the "CumberCollective" or "Cumberpeople". Cumberbatch is uncomfortable with the term "Cumberbitches" because he says its non-inclusive and pejorative.

I've been very lucky at what's happened in my career to date, but playing something as far from me as possible is an ambition of mine - anything from a mutated baddy in a comic book action thriller, to a detective. If anything, I'd like Gary Oldman's career: he's the perfect example of it. I've love to have a really broad sweep of characters - to be able to do something edgy, surprising and unfashionable.
